Dr. H.B. Stewart

Dr. H.B. Stewart was born May 21, 1873, at Cairo, in Henderson County, Kentucky. He attended the rural schools in Henderson and Webster Counties. He attended a private school at Madisonville, Kentucky after finishing the grades. Later he attended school for two years at Bowling Green, Kentucky. He taught school for eight years in the rural schools of Webster and Union Counties.

Dr. Stewart graduated from the Medical School at the University of Kentucky in 1904. He then took a post graduate course at the New York Polyclinic Medical College in New York City in 1911.

He has been in general practice in Union County since 1914.

His father was also a doctor. He was the son of Dr. E.B. Stewart and Margaret McMullen Stewart. In 1908 he was married to Miss Beulah Wallace of Kingland, Kansas.

Dr. Stewart had two sisters. Only recently lost one of them.

He is a member of the Christian Church at Morganfield, Kentucky.
