McClure School
- 1928 -
Teacher -- Eberly Hammack
McClure School burned
in December 1937, Classes were held in McClure Church for about 6 months
and McClure School was rebuilt in 1938.
Camp Breckinridge acquired
all that land including the school and church in 1941 or 1942.

"Eberly
Hammack, the teacher, eventually was principal of Morganfield High School
in 1943-44-45.
The school building shown in this picture eventually
burned and another one room school replaced it.
I went to school
in the new building from 1st through 6th grade.
I had the same teacher
for all of those years...Marguerite Caton."
